Fig syrup, a natural sweetener of oriental origin, belongs in every creative kitchen.

The fig syrup is made from sun-dried figs; water and rose geranium leaves are the only other ingredients.

It can be served directly with cold dishes and salads or with a refreshing yogurt and fruit.

The Lambrou family founded Kumílio in 2015. Their goal is to promote the Kimi fig, fresh and sun-dried – a fruit that plays an important role in Greek cuisine, combining its exceptionally sweet taste with its high nutritional value.

In addition to whole, sun-dried Kimi figs, the company offers a range of products whose main ingredient is the Kimi fig: fig jam, fig bars, and fig syrup. They cultivate around 900 fig trees in the village of Kádi in Kimi, where they also operate a small sorting and processing facility.
