The walnuts are harvested green and at the right time from the walnut trees on our plantations – when they are still tender and unripe, and processed into one of the finest and most delicate expressions of Greek sweet tradition.
Instead of classic sugar syrup, our walnuts are slowly cooked in grape must – the concentrated must that carries the aromatic power and natural sweetness of the grape. The result is a profound, complex, and aromatic dessert with a rich, earthy flavor, delicate tannins, and perfect balance.
